# ESCAPADE Gold

The twin of Blue, on the same flight. Both wait at the Earth-Sun L2 point until an engine burn in November 2026 sends them to Mars on an eleven-month cruise; once there they will fly the same orbit at different heights, so that their separation grows and they can sample distant parts of the Martian magnetosphere at the same instant.
