# Haumea

*In the Solar System*

A dwarf planet shaped like a rugby ball, and it is spinning that turned it into one: it turns once every four hours, faster than anything else its size, almost certainly after a collision that also gave it two moons and a family of fragments on similar orbits. It was the first body out here found to have a ring, in 2017; Quaoar turned out to have two of its own in 2023, so the ring is no longer unique, only early. The figure this map draws it at is a single radius for a body that is roughly 2,100 by 1,680 by 1,070 km, which is a simplification the shape itself contradicts.
