# Lutetia

*In the Solar System*

A hundred-kilometre asteroid in the main belt, here because Rosetta went past it in July 2010 on the way to its comet - the largest asteroid anything had seen close up at the time. It photographed a heavily cratered surface and measured a density high enough that Lutetia is probably a primordial body that never broke up, one of the few left.
