The second-largest planet, and the one everybody can identify: the rings are almost pure water ice, span two hundred and eighty thousand kilometres and are on average some ten metres thick. The planet itself is less dense than water. Titan, its largest moon, has a thicker atmosphere than the Earth's and rivers and seas of liquid methane; Enceladus vents water from an ocean under its ice.
