# Titan

*In the Solar System*

Saturn's largest moon and the second-largest in the Solar System, larger than Mercury, with an atmosphere of nitrogen denser than the Earth's. It is the only other world known to have rain, rivers and seas on its surface - of liquid methane and ethane, at −180 °C. Huygens landed there in 2005, still the farthest landing ever made, and NASA's Dragonfly, a nuclear-powered rotorcraft, is to arrive in 2034 and fly from site to site.

Distances and speed are computed from JPL Horizons trajectories and are true of 2026-10-09, changing at the rate given beside each. The interpolation itself is good to a few kilometres; what ages these figures is the date, not the arithmetic.
