Makemake
A dwarf planet about two-thirds the width of Pluto, bright with methane ice, and one of the objects whose discovery in 2005 forced the argument that ended with Pluto reclassified. It has one small dark moon, found in 2016. Nothing has been near it and nothing is going, so almost everything known about it comes from how its light changes and from the moments it passes in front of a star.
